Largo closes his eyes, just for a moment. “I wouldn’t expect anything less,” he growls, and really he means I’m sorry.

TotA - WolfSleep young angel, close your eyes; the wolf is coming.
The song is soft and melodic in his ears, eyes fluttering shut. He wraps himself in multitudes of blankets as Van sings to him, the words unfamiliar.
Hide your head and hide your wings; the wolf looks for little angels.
What do the words mean, he asks, ginger curls tickling his cheek. The language is foreign to him, old and broken and unknown. Van simply smiles down on him, and keeps signing.
Stay from the shadows and stay from the light; no place is safe when the wolf comes.
Van, Van, please tell me. He reaches his little TotA - Wolf
